Nick Offerman stars in this world premier stage production of John Kennedy Toole's Pulitzer Prize winning novel as the slovenly Don Quixote-esque anti-hero. Full of hilarious misadventures, self-styled scholar, Ignatius J Reilly navigates life in 1960's New Orleans, eschewing popular culture and offering his own philosophies as he seeks gainful employment.
Still living with his mother aged 30, the arrogant and billious Reilly spends his days taking in the city, interacting with a large class of colourful characters that add to his grievances and give him much to rant about. This wonderful new production, helmed by the Parks and Recreation star, who previously played the part during an industry workship last year, will open the Huntington's 2015/16 season and is set to be the hottest ticket in town.
