Hersey Felder brings his incredible performance to Boston in this one man show that details the life and career of Irving Berlin, the greatest songwriter in American Music. Born in Czarist Russia, his family quickly fled the virulent anti-Semitism to New York City's Lower East Side, from where Irving went on to epitomize the American Dream as he set out to write songs that appealed to the heart and soul of his adopted country.
From his first hit 'Marie from sunny Italy' from which he earned just 37 cents in 1907, to Broadway busting hits such as 'Puttin' on the Ritz' and 'There's no Business like Show Business', Berlin created some of the nation's most enduring songs. Expect to hear them and much more in this critically acclaimed love letter to the legendary composer.
