A musical revue drawn from the Broadway's' greatest songbook
Part retrospective and part musical revue, Sondheim on Sondheim blends together musical numbers, voice-over, and video footage to create a unique portrait of our greatest living musical composer. You can expect to hear the most famous numbers from the likes of Assassins, Into the Woods, and Sunday in the Park with George, alongside some lesser known gems from Sondheim's student show days! This show originally premiered on Broadway in 2010.
Keith Lockhart conducts the Boston Pops Orchestra, while guest vocalists include Tony nominee Carmen Cusack (Wicked, Bright Star), and Tony winner Gabriel Ebert (Matilda: The Musical, Rikki and the Flash).
