Brilliant Beethoven

The BSO turn up the volume with this all Beethoven program that celebrates the genius of history's most venerated composer with a recital of his unforgettable 5th Symphony. Known as one of, if not the most famous work in the entire classical canon, let yourself be transported into a world of outstanding melody and thrilling creativity from those fateful first four bars.

Sandwiched between Eroica and the 5th, Beethoven's 4th might not be his most remembered but that is not to say that it doesn't have the power to delight. With a certain kind of melancholy, it sits amongst its more well known siblings in gentleness and cheer that serves as a delightful tonic.

Yes, it really is that good. A show about young rebels grabbing and shaping the future of an unformed country, 'Hamilton' is making its own resonant history by changing the language of musicals.

This is two hours of unapologetic, stupid fun, buoyed along by a cast of ultra-committed performers
