Why See A Christmas Celtic Sojourn?
Brian O'Donovan's annual holiday show returns!
Originally radio show on WBGH for the past 31 years, Brian O'Donovan's live show has wowed audiences across the New England region, with Irish singers, musicians and dancers showing off the best of all things Celtic! The Christmas show has been staged live across the region for many glorious years, drawing on Celtic, Pagan, and Christian traditions to show off the music that makes it such a special time of year. And the Boston leg of the tour will actually be broadcast live on public radio!
Celtic music group Solas, led by Seamus Egan returns alongside Winifred Horan on fiddle, Johnny Connolly on accordion, and Eamon McElholmon guitar with Chico Huff on bass. Harpist/singer Maeve Gilchrist from Scotland and virtuosic cellist Natalie Haas also return, with special guests Mairi Campbell, Wimbourne, as led by O'Donovan, his wife Lindsay.
Opening night: 14 December 2017
