Published in 1923, three years after her canonization George Bernard Shaw's account of the military hero and eventual saint is largely based on the transcripts from Joan of Arc's real trial. In Rep with Hamlet, this offering from Bedlam captures the life of this divisive figure from farmgirl to icon.
With four actors performing all 25 roles, Bedlam showcase their ongoing commitment to re-invigorating the artform, fusing tradition with innovation and breathing new life and unexpected humor into this searing work.
