Country icons George Strait & Blake Shelton share the stage
Dust off your stetsons and shine your cowboy boots because two of country music's biggest superstars are joining forces for one special night at Boston's Gillette stadium. Representing the old school is living legend George Strait, often hailed as the King of Country due to his status as one of the genre's most influential and top selling artists. With his authentic bronco-busting style, he brought country back to its roots when it merged with pop in the 1980s.
Joining him is none other than new school contemporary country crooner Blake Shelton, who is currently carrying the Nashville flag in the mainstream with hits like Ol' Red, The Baby and recent single God's Country, as well as his continued appearances as a judge on the ever popular reality singing competition The Voice. If that wasn't enough, Texan singer songwriter Cody Johnson and Starfire songstress Caitlyn Smith will also be performing at this one off event.
