EXTREMELY BAD SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE TOUR
I saw the show last night in Royal Oak, MI. The show itself is really poor - the performances seem marked, meaning the dancers seem to be performing at about 50% of their ability, talent, and skill. The entire show was disappointing, given I have seen the other tours for the past 4 years. The music was much too loud - I recommend bringing ear plugs. The "campy" style of the show was lackluster and only reduced the show's quality. The strobe lights were managed horribly, blinding the audience members throughout the show. One of the dancers did not show and no mention was made about it. Two important pieces from the televised version were not on the program, which decreased the enjoyment further. Overall, a complete waste of time and money. I highly recommend skipping this show.
