The Tanglewood Music Center Fellows' Chamber Music Festival
The Glastonbury of the classical world, the Tanglewood Summer Season is an annual series held in the Berkshire Hills, the famed summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Passing the torch to talented young performers, the BSO funds the Tanglewood Music Center, a summer academy for advanced musical study. Fostering fresh talent with close collaboration with the orchestra and special guest performers, the academy presents the annual Festival of Contemporary Music, four concerts helmed by the BSO's artistic partner Thomas Ades and performed by the fellows of the academy.
