Really disappointed since I’m a huge fan. She wasn’t very funny and I kept wondering when her act was going to take off. If you really want to be an actress Anjelah, like you kept saying last night, go do that.
Saundra from Kansas City from Kansas City, Missouri
My sister and I went to this expecting the same type show as the Not Fancy tour (which we found hilarious). She was not very energetic and her first topic was about anxiety and her fear of death and lasted FAR TOO LONG. NOT really funny topics. I was ready to leave about 30 minutes in to it.

Let me start by saying I'm one of her biggest fans. LOVE her! But this performance was lackluster at best. She was in slo-mo. Definitely acted like she didn't care or had just had a xanax. Low energy and uninspired and totally NOT funny! And never did Bon Qui Qui! Silver lining? The Indian guy who opened for her was HILARIOUS! Made it all worth it. SJ Improv is a FABULOUS venue - cannot recommend enough (except for my waiter spilling red wine on me right at the start...)
NUNYA BIZNATCH from Denver, Colorado
I saw Her 10 years ago at comedy works in Denver and she was AMAZING. I was SO excited to see her again and she was a massive disappointment. We had tickets to the late show on Saturday and it was AN HOUR late getting started. The opener didn’t come on until 10:30 and she didn’t take the stage until 11:00!! I couldn’t even stay awake for her set. The few jokes that I did see for fell extremely FLAT. Time to up your game, Anjelah. Had I waited in line for 2 HOURS for the doors to open like everyone else did I would’ve been LIVID. (My friend and I we’re in the restaurant next to the theater and watched people freeze their asses off)
