The Podcast Phenomenon Goes Live
In 2005, when independent film and podcast maker Payne Lindsay set out to discover the truth about the disappearance of Georgia beauty queen and high school teacher Tara Grinstead, he never suspected for his investigative podcast Up and Vanished to snowball into the cultural phenomenon it is today.
What started as a cold case was reignited when Lindsay joined forces with private investigator Maurice Godwin, who'd been hired by Grinstead's family and working on the case for 10 years. Twenty four episodes later, the podcast drew enough evidence and media attention to make significant breakthroughs.
Now the pair will be bringing previously unseen footage and audio to the stage in the first ever Up and Vanished live tour, where you'll be able to ask burning questions and gain insight into the two year investigation.
