Another enchanting night at Tanglewood awaits!
Celebrated conductor Asher Fisch conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra in this presentation of two very different, but significant composers. Key works from Aaron Copland and Ludwig Van Beethoven are enriched by the talents of the renowned orchestra and the voices of Julianna Di Giacomo, Renee Tatum, Paul Groves and John Relyea in what is sure to be a magnificent night at Tanglewood.
Aaron Copland - Symphonic Ode
Composed between 1927 and 1929, and created for the BSO, Symphonic Ode is an example of the distinct American style that came to be defined by the 'Dean of American Composers'.
Ludwig Van Beethoven - Symphony No. 9
One of the world's most recognisable and monumental works in classical music, Symphony No. 9 is often performed throughout the globe, and yet has lost none of it's power or gravitas.
