The Legendary BSO music director Seiji Ozawa joins Jacques Lacombe
Two legendary conductors come together for this special Tanglewood event, in the form of renowned Japanese conductor Seiji Ozawa and BSO/Tanglewood favorite Jacques Lacombe, back this season for his third year running. The evening will comprise of works by Beethoven (presided over by Ozawa), Ravel and Orff's epic Carmina Burana, the latter featuring soprano Nadine Sierra, tenor Jean-Francis Monvoisin and baritone Stephen Powell.
A frequent San Francisco Symphony collaborator, Ozawa is well known for his advocacy of modern composers and a highly-energetic style. He has been the music director laureate of the BSO for over 25 years.

Orff - Carmina Burana
