WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SHOW…

The sound system was horrible. Just loud and had issues picking out the words of songs…sometimes just sounded like yelling. Couldn’t get into the play. Very dark subject matter. Guess I’m more a fan of uplifting plays. Left at intermission time…couldn’t face sticking around for the rest of the show.

SOUND SYSTEM REALLY BAD!!

There were 10 previous reviews about how bad the sound system is and it doesn't sound like anyone from the musical has bothered to read the reviews and correct the problem. WAY TOO LOUD and too much yelling when they were singing, couldn't understand the lyrics except when Chris Hoch who played the father was singing. Wish I would have had ear plugs. Hope someone pays attention to the reviews and fixes the sound system.

JAGGED LITTLE PILL - HOUSTON

I always loved Alanis Morissette’s music and she has a spectacular voice so for me it’s hard to hear someone who can’t match her vocals - but the staging was spectacular, the story line was gripping, and I thoroughly enjoyed the music. It’s too bad they couldn’t find the voices to match.

Maybe we are a little too old. That said, we’re fans of Alanis Morrisette. The sound system was horrible, the crowd was noisy, young, and maybe didn’t know what a good musical should sound like. Left very early!

SOUND WAS TERRIBLE

Saw the show in Portland, OR. I don't know if the terrible sound and acoustics are the auditorium's problem or the production's, but it was awful. Too loud. To fuzzy. Didn't even sound like Alanis music. Honestly, it was my first time leaving a show at intermission and I was so disappointed because I had really been looking forward to this musical.

DISAPPOINTED

Acoustics were bad, music was so loud my ears still hurt, couldn’t understand much of the singing which was mostly nothing more than yelling at the audience. Worst play I’ve seen at the Keller. We left at the intermission, along with many others.
