JUST BAD

Didn’t know but one song. He played all bluesy stuff. I wish I stayed home.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

Somewhat entertaining but too self centered it seemed. Never acknowledged the crowd and it just seemed like a moneygrab. Still love his studio sessions.

VM, HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?

Feeling like a fool having paid $1,000 for four tix to see an underwhelming Van Morrison tonight in Boston for first time. Concert ended 30 minutes early. No encore. No goodbye. No thanking the audience for spending an entire paycheck on a one-time legend, only to feel like a patsy for mistaking concert’s 9:30 ending for intermission. Never again. The man lacks a conscience. VM should be ashamed of himself.

WORST CONCERT EVER!

Saw Van Morrison in Boston tonight, by far the worst concert I have ever seen. So maddening. I Wish I had read the reviews before buying the tickets but I love Van’s music and would never have suspected. I was so looking forward to this bucket list concert. What an expensive disappointment. He sang only 2 of his old hits. He sang lots of bluesy jazz unrecognizable songs. He sounded like he was screaming. I kept covering my ears. His band was awesome but he was pitchy and sounded terrible. The highlight was the long rendition of Gloria by his band. He did other peoples cover songs while only 2 of his old hits everyone came to hear. The ones he did sing the mix was so different you barely recognized the song. No encore. No hello or good bye. No crowd interaction. Funny they were selling shirts that said Moon Dance but never even sang the song. What a joke.

VAN WALKS OFF STAGE NOT TO RETURN

The venue is fantastic. The show started out fine, BUT ENDED FOOLISHLY!! During the song Gloria, which broke into a melody of sorts when Van walked off the stage as the band played a mash up of songs for long spell while we all waited for him to come back. IT NEVER HAPPENEND. He just felt out left!!!! Absolute B.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!+

WANT A REFUND

We drove to Boston from Montreal. What an insult to fans old and young. I have seen more class out backyard bands. He was rude to his crew .... A true Jerk!!!

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

Like the other negative reviews…same story here. He only played 2-3 hits and left all the ones we waited for out. He didn’t speak one word to audience or introduce band. He only played from 8:15 to 9:30 pm. On the upside…Tanglewood is a beautiful venue.
