TIME HEADLINER TAKES THE STAGE?

We were there until 9:45pm & Tim McGraw had not yet stepped on stage. You’re opening acts were talented-yes. But, we paid for the headliner who didn’t take the stage until 2 hrs after the printed time?! ?!

POOR PRODUCTION

Love Tim and have for years. However whoever was doing the sound production should be fired. Terrible, over loud to the point of pain. More painfully, could not understand a single word of the lyrics and indeed Tim sounded pitchy and lost in the crushing wall of sound. We thought maybe it was just us and the “nosebleed “ seats that we had but others with better seats said the same thing. The two opening acts were plenty loud but had no similar sound issues.

TIM MCGRAW SOUND SYSTEM WAS AWFUL!

We spent a lot of money on floor seats for the Tim McGraw concert. Although the singing and performance were amazing, the sound mix really took away from the concert. I didn't notice it when Carly Pearce performed which makes it even more frustrating considering the expense. It cut out completely for a few seconds at a time 2 or 3 times which wouldn't have been so bad if the other times were almost muffled sounding. I'm not a sound engineer, so I'm sure I'm not using the correct verbiage, but very disappointing. I've been to several other concerts in the same general area of Ball Arena, and this was not an issue.

DISAPPOINTED

Tim McGraw’s debut album was the first country album I ever bought. His second release was the 2nd country album I ever bought. I saw him live for the first time last night in Austin and his concert is the worst I’ve ever been to. His voice was horrible and he sounded nothing like he does on his studio albums. At one point he was singing along to his Highway Don’t Care song with a recorded version of Taylor Swift. They left some of his recorded background vocals in there and it contrasted poorly with his live voice. Carly Pearce opened for him and was outstanding, why not let her fill in for Taylor Swift’s part? His voice was so bad that I thought it might be my headphone filters but then I remembered when we saw Blake a few weeks before and his voice sounded like his albums. Tim spent most of his time flexing, posing, and telling the audience to keep cheering him on, which they did. He has great music but I’ll be sticking to listening to his studio albums from here on out.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED

Wow!!! I thought it was just me until I saw all of these reviews today. I saw him last night at the Moody Center in Austin, TX and thought it was my least favorite concert I have ever been to. I agree the sound was awful. He sounded like a cartoon character for some parts and was very hard to hear over the very loud music. Very disappointed that he only sang for an hour and 15 minutes. We saw John Michael Montgomery, Colin Raye and Tracy Byrd (3 separate concerts) and they plAyed MUCH longer and did so many more songs. Very disappointed. I was so excited and was let down.

A CONCERT CLUSTER !

First warm up group started playing before official start time. Sound system was terrible. Carly Pearce performed for over an hour , longest opening act I have experienced . We assumed Tim was trying to get it together ! Then a 30 minutes wait for a stoned Tim McGraw to take the stage. Poor voice and sound. Very large concert goers stood for the entire time we stayed. We couldn't take it anymore and left. I have seen him with Faith about five years ago and it was a far superior performance. Another examples of consumer putting up for subpar work! I gave them 2 stars because they showed up!

TIM MCGRAW APRIL 26 CONCERT AT THOMPSON-BOLING ARENA

We love Tim McGraw, but the sound was so loud and so distorted at this concert that we couldn’t hear any lyrics he sang. We even have special earplugs we always wear that help with the loudness and distortion, but it was so bad that we actually left the concert early, and we NEVER leave early! My husband was in the music business for years, and he said this was one of the worst concerts he’s ever attended. We have been to other concerts at this arena, so we know it wasn’t the venue. If it was Mr. McGraw’s sound people working that night, he might want to consider new ones. If they were contracted locally, I would recommend never using them again. In my opinion, they only ruined what could have been a wonderful concert.
