Swing into the new year with the multi-talented creative whirlwind that is Seth MacFarlane, who'll be stepping up to the mic to lead the Boston Symphony Orchestra through a program of seasonal hits and vintage classics this New Year's Eve! As at home with a big band behind him as he is in front of and behind the camera, MacFarlane is the perfect company for a good knees up and how-do-you-do to 2019!
Perhaps overshadowed by his many successes in Hollywood, Family Guy, American Dad and feature film Ted to name a few, Macfarlane's vocal career has seen him release three smash hit jazz albums and tour the globe with the world's finest orchestras, all thanks to a sonorous timbre that recalls the likes of Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and Ol' Blue Eyes in their prime. His smooth baritone goes hand in hand with a debonair sense of charm, conjuring an old school sense of showmanship - yet he also injects his onstage proceedings with the trademark anarchic wit that many have come to love him for.
