A REALLY FUN AND HEARTWARMING TIME

This show kept me engaged and enthused through its entire two hour run time. Every performer in the show gives their all and tells a really special story about the king himself. Highly recommend!

UNINSPIRED

Kudos to the hard-working actors and their strong singing and dancing. If you enjoy a bunch of Elvis songs, then this play might be for you. If you are looking for a compelling story and or a resonating message or an insightful look into Elvis's life, this is not the show for you. Whoever wrote the play was uninspired. To make matters worse, many members of the audience felt compelled to use their phones and have loud, long conversations during the play, adding extreme distraction. On behalf of those who were rude, I apologize to the cast and crew. I can't recall a previous visual arts experience for which I spent 100% of the time wishing it were over.

ELVIS A MUSCIAL AT NORTH SHORE MUSIC THEATER

When producing a show about Elvis the first requirement should be to cast an actor who can sing and move like Elvis - this production did not do that. While the actor had a nice voice - not the voice of Elvis. The show failed just based on that alone. However, as important as Elvis' voice was his movements - Elvis had certain hand movements that he made but he didn't make them like he was having a seizure every couple of seconds. Everytime the actor moved his arms, he shook his hands - it was incrediblly annoying and distracting. Elvis was not represented in this produciton. I am a seasoned theater attendee, who usually can find the silver lining in any production - but unfortunately couldn't find it here. . Kudos to the cast, band and crew who gave it their all, but it just wasn't enough. Would not recommend rather.would discourage any Elvis fan from attending. Disappointed Elvis fan!
