Honoring The Departed

The Boston Pops Orchestra invites you to enjoy the Dia de los Muertos with this high-spirited concert that celebrates the vibrancy of the venerated Latin holiday. The orchestra's first foray into marking this annual highlight full of family fun, joining the performance are an array of hugely talented Mexican folk musicians, including Veronica Robles and her Mariachi Ensemble and guitarist Zaira Meneses.

A time to remember and honor dearly departed friends and family and aide their spiritual journeys, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican tradition dating back nearly 3,000 years that involves food, arts, music and more, all of which will be explored at this fantastic concert performance.
