539 Washington St, Boston, MA 2111
This beautiful opera house started life in 1928 as the B.F. Keith Memorial Theatre where it played movies and was also one of the best examples of a vaudeville palace on the circuit. From 1929 it operated solely as a movie palace until 1980, when it was acquired as a home for the Opera Company of Boston. It was renamed Citizens Bank Opera House in 2019, where it hosts major Broadway tours like Dear Evan Hansen, Les Miserables, The Band's Visit, and much more.
