A rare music festival that lives up to the hype, Boston Calling makes a triumphant return in the summer of 2021. Founded in 2013, the yearly event is an excellent opportunity to take in the glorious weather and enjoy live music across the city. Catering to a diverse range of listeners, this year's bill is curated by the one and only Aaron Dressner, the frontman of iconic indie outfit The National, and features the most influential acts from rock, hip, hop, indie and beyond.
Throughout the years, the festival has seen powerhouse performances from the likes of Vampire Weekend, Eminem, Tool, Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, Travis Scott and Lizzo, amongst others. In 2020, a new stage was added, spreading over 60 acts across five stages for three days of music, visual arts, gourmet food and carnival attractions.
