they really were greeted like family, albeit long lost, some of us hardly believing we were finally in the same room as both Method Man AND Redman

Meth and Red
Two of the most influential names in hip-hop, Method Man of Wu-Tang Clan fame and Def Squad's Redman, reunite for a run of shows this year! The pair have been collaborating frequently since the early 1990s and for almost the entire length of their professional careers since both signed to the famous Def Jam record label, and are smashing the circling rumors that they've grown apart by getting back to the stage!
Method Man, born Clifford Smith Jr., rose to prominence as a standout member of the now-legendary East Coast collective Wu-Tang Clan, while Newark, New Jersey native Redman (Reginald Noble) established himself through his work with EPMD's Hit Squad, going on to sign with Def Jam Recordings. After first collaborating on the 1995 track "How High," their partnership as one of hip-hop's most charismatic pairings turned into a multi-platinum franchise, that includes the classic album Blackout!, the cult-favorite film How High, and their own TV sitcom.
