Two People, Infinite Possibilities
Physics and romance collide in Nick Payne's award-winning 2015 play, coming to the BCA Plaza Theatre for a strictly limited run this September. A delightful yet deep examination of lovers across parallel universes, it takes place over one act that lasts just over an hour, presenting a series of different narratives that depict the potential courses of one couple's relationship.
What Is The Story?
Beekeeper Roland meets quantum physicist Marianne at a friend's BBQ, where they immediately find a connection. The rest of their relationship, however, doesn't always run as smoothly. Through a series of fragmented yet interwoven scenes, their love story unfolds across multiple parallel universes, where a different word chosen or decision made has a "butterfly effect" in determining the future of their relationship.
