Glee and Broadway Star

Alex Newell has had quite the glittering career, with Drama Desk, Tony and Critics' Circle awards under their belt and further nominations at the Grammys. Perhaps best known for their role as Unique Adams on Glee and in Shucked and Once On This Island on Broadway, they and J. Harrison Ghee were jointly the first ever openly non-binary Tony Award winners in 2023.
