Supergroup celebrates George Harrison
A supergroup comes together for a tour celebrating the music of the iconic Beatle George Harrison! All You Need Is George brings together solo artist and former Black Crowes member Jackie Greene, guitarist Steve Kimock, multi-instrumentalist Reed Mathis (Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey), Berry Duane Oakley (son of the Allman Brothers Band's Berry Oakley) and drummer Pete Lavezzoli to journey through the timeless music of Harrison's career, from his work with The Beatles, his solo hits and the music he made with supergroup Traveling Wilburys.
As a member of the Beatles George Harrison helped to change the entire concept of what was possible in popular music. From the infectious pop melodies of the Please Please Me and Hard Day's Night eras to the innovative sounds found on genre-defying albums Abbey Road and Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the Beatles created a legacy that will live on for centuries. As the Beatles approached their break up, Harrison embarked on a solo career churning out more classic hits and albums, including 1970's All Things Must Pass and the single "My Sweet Lord", and formed the supergroup Traveling Wilburys alongside Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty.
