Mikko Nissinen's Swan Lake To Dazzle Boston

Spring 2024 finally sees Boston Ballet proudly present Mikko Nissinen's Swan Lake at the Citizens Bank Opera House. Nissinen's dazzling production of the world's most famous piece of ballet perfectly sets Tchaikovsky's classic score to an enchanting interpretation of the timeless tale, with romance, evil, darkness and light coming together in an epic production.

Born in Finland, Mikko Nissinen has been artistic director of Boston Ballet since 2001, winning awards and high acclaim for the diverse repertoire of both classical and contemporary ballet he has overseen at Boston, with previous productions including The Nutcracker and Raymonda. This production is brought to life with spectacular costume and set design from Robert Perdziola.
