What Is The Story?

Four young would-be lovers enter a wood with the hopes of finally getting together. Little do they know that they've wandered into a realm of fairies who aren't above playing tricks on passing humans... Throw an errant troupe of actors into the mix, and the stage is set for chaos. Ashton's choreography takes Shakespeare's mischievous comedy and beautifully translates it into a wondrous one act ballet that retains all the fun, warmth and romance of the original play.
