The Perfect Yuletide Celebration!

Celebrate the most festive time of year with the time-honored tradition that is the Nutcracker Ballet! Touted as New England's longest-running Nutcracker incarnation, the Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre version pays tribute to the traditions of the original whilst upholding high standards of innovation and modern technical skill.

After well over two decades, delighted families still return to see the dazzling Sugar Plum Fairy surrounded by waltzing flowers and whirring snowflakes, marking this special ballet a tradition in its own right. Featuring 100 children dancers on the night, the company is proud to set themselves apart from other Nutcrackers by focusing primarily on authenticity and dancing, avoiding garish special effects.
