Back by Popular demand!
After enchanting audiences with their magical production of Ada/Ava Manual Cinema return to Boston with their latest creation, The End of TV. Using a mix of live-action silhouettes, video feeds, overhead projections and a five-piece band The End of TV transports us back to the 1990s in this nostalgic treat for the senses.
In amongst the onslaught of Technicolour media The End of TV dives behind the adverts, newscasts and sitcoms to bring us a tale of true human connection. Set in a failing Rust Belt town an elderly white woman and a young black woman ignite a steadfast friendship as they come to terms with the loss of their jobs at the local auto plant.
