English singer-songwriter and actor, best known as the founder and lead singer of English rock band The Who. He has maintained a musical career as a solo artist and has also worked in the film industry, acting in a large number of films, theatre and television roles and also producing films. In 2008 he was ranked number 61 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest singers of all time.

Back on the road this summer, catch Daltrey live over a handful of dates where he'll be touring with an electric and acoustic band, singing some of The Who's biggest hits, with deep cuts and highlights from his solo records. Alongside, he'll be sharing stories from his massive career. This is one The Who fans will not want to miss!

Roger Daltrey is as great as ever

Covering classics ranging from I Can See For Miles to Athena, Roger looked and sounded great. His back-up band included Pete's soundalike brother Simon Townshend. I initially thought having Simon was a gimmick, but the man is so talented he proved me wrong. The acoustics were excellent for an outdoor venue. Lesser known but stunning songs like Naked Eye and How Many Friends made this a night not to be missed. The only problem was with the venue, which had a lame dinner table arrangement. Food was served while the opening act was playing. Very distracting. Incredibly, some people were eating and yakking loudly while Roger was singing his heart out. If you don't want to be enthralled by live music, please stay at home. There you can eat, play with your cell phone, and talk loudly without annoying real fans. I wish I had gotten less expensive non-table seats where food wasn't served. ... Read more
