Tanglewood's hotly-anticipated Summer 2020 season sets off to a rousing start with a program featuring the works of Schuman, Barber, Roberto Sierra, and Gershwin. German-born American conductor extraordinaire Ken-David Masur leads the Boston Symphony during the one-night-only concert, which also features the vocal talents of celebrated operatic soprano Angel Blue and virtuoso jazz saxophonist James Carter. 

Able to effortlessly glide from a classical to contemporary sound, Angel Blue has received much acclaim for her agile upper register, smoky mid rage, and overall beautiful timbre. No stranger to performances with the world's leading orchestras, the tireless songstress has performed in over 35 countries in the last six years and is fast becoming one of the genre's most respected stars.
