The fierce fillies of improv group Wild Horses bring the laughs during Boston's Women In Comedy Festival
The 10th annual Women In Comedy Festival, presented by HBO, brings up and coming feminine stand up talent to venues across Boston this spring. Debuting at the festival for the first time, the Wild Horses improv group brings their off-the-wall humour to the Wilbur Theatre in a comedy show that'll leave you whinnying with glee as they horse around on stage.
United by the long tresses of their manes, Wild Horses is comprised of Los Angeles-based writer and actress Stephanie Allynne, HBO and Netflix regular Lauren Lapkus, and Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre alumni Mary Holland and Erin Whitehead. Their latest long-running show is The Perspective, where they begin the festivities with a probing and deeply candid conversation before taking part in a freshly improvised set. It's been likened to the View, with much more alcohol involved!
