Boston Ballet - Carmen

April 25 - May 5, 2024

Boston Ballet's resident choreographer Jorma Elo is a visionary dance maker in constant hot demand. His captivating kinetic spin on Georges Bizet's Carmen takes pride of place in this female forward program, which also showcases George Balanchine's Serenade, the balletmaster's first ever piece created in America for his fledgeling students and American contemporary choreographer Helen Pickett's Tsukiyo, stunningly intimate duet based on the Japanese fable of the Woodcutter's Daughter.

Boston Ballet - Spring Experience

May 9 - 19, 2024

Boston Ballet celebrates the coming of spring with three vibrant works, with innovation and boundary-pushing at the core. On the program is Blake Works III, a masterful set of choreography by William Forsythe set to the dynamic music of British electronic musician and producer James Blake. Jiri Kylian's much loved Bella Figura will also be performed, a hauntingly beautiful piece exploring intimacy and human connection.

Keith Memorial Theatre where it played movies and was also one of the best examples of a vaudeville palace on the circuit. From 1929 it operated solely as a movie palace until 1980, when it was acquired as a home for the Opera Company of Boston. Today it plays host to a variety of entertainment from opera and ballet, as well as staging the many Broadway productions that tour the country, making it one of the most successful venues in the city.
