Washington Street 539, Boston, MA 2111
Formerly the Boston Opera House. This beautiful opera house started life in 1928 as the B.F. Keith Memorial Theatre where it played movies and was also one of the best examples of a vaudeville palace on the circuit. From 1929 it operated solely as a movie palace until 1980, when it was acquired as a home for the Opera Company of Boston. Today it plays host to a variety of entertainment from opera and ballet, as well as staging the many Broadway productions that tour the country, making it one of the most successful venues in the city.
About Boston Theater: We are an independent show guide not a venue or show. We sell primary, discount and resale tickets which may be priced above or below face value.
