Set in 1970s Houston, the play follows Abasiama and Ukpong, a married couple who arrive in America with big plans to return to Nigeria with college degrees and a world of experience to build a future there. However, when Ukpong becomes captivated by American culture, Abasiama is forced to question her place in this new world, caught between her commitment to tradition and her dreams.
